SiteWrench 4.0

Members

SiteWrench Cornerstone.

Everything SiteWrench allows you to create or edit was built with site member interaction in mind. That means that you can keep a database of members while tracking activity and creating online community.

Customizable Member Database

We started with the Member Database. We decided that you should be able to customize what information you gather about your members. Set what information you want from members (name, address, email, shoe size, etc.), then set whether the information is required and BAM! you're finished. Finally, a membership solution that lets you build a database that fits your organization - not someone else's.

Member Groups

The next thing we built was Member Groups. We realized that it can be hard keeping up with a whole bunch of individual members and it would greatly benefit you to be able to group them. In SiteWrench 4.0, you can create groups and add members to those groups. You can even set the group(s) that someone joins during the Member Registration process.

Members-Only Access

Pretty much everything in SiteWrench 4.0 can be restricted or allowed based on Membership. Since our new Pages system encompasses an array of modules using Page Parts, restricting access to these modules is simple. For example, if you want to setup a private message board that only members of your staff can see, create a Page called "Staff Message Board" and drop a message board page part on that page. Then set the access level of your page to the members of your staff. Now only your staff members can access this message board.

We know the vast majority of the information on your website is meant for everyone, but Members-Only Access lets you protect resources that you want to be available on the web.
