Message Boards

Building online community.

You can allow site members to participate in online discussions in multiple areas about multiple topics. For an added level of security, only site members can post information to your message board.

Full Moderation

Because Message Boards are a Page Part, you can have them on any page in your site. This is an added benefit because you can put them on password protected pages and limit access to them to only selected members of your site. Regardless of whether your message boards are on password protected pages or not, you have full ability to edit or delete any message in your message boards. Speak softly and carry a big stick. We mean that metaphorically, of course.

Member Only Option

You can further secure your message boards by only allowing certain website members or member groups to post on your message boards. This feature is also useful for organizational ideation (I promise we didn't make that word up) where leadership can bounce ideas back and forth without worrying about who else might be reading (bring your Llama to work day!).

Online Community

What's greater than having a whole bunch of people coming to your website? A whole bunch of people coming to your website and interacting with each other. Using message boards, members of your site can discuss anything and everything - you and your staff can even jump in to add to discussions!

Avatars

Every member of the site can have a custom avatar (an image that displays when they make a post), so they can express their personality in a wider community. Whether it's a picture of your favorite stapler, your dog or just a good mug shot, your members can post messages in style!
