SiteWrench 4.0

Pages

The nerve center of your website.

The most fundamental part of any website is the content within it. Organizing information into pages allows visitors to get to what they are looking for quickly. SiteWrench makes it easy to add, rename, edit, delete or move a page in your site. We've also got this tool we like to call a Page Part, which is only the simplest, most revolutionary feature of SiteWrench 4.0. You'll want to read more about Page Parts here. Before you get ahead of your self, though, you'll want to take a look at the intuitive features built into Pages.

Shortcuts

One of the biggest requests we get is to offer easy-to-remember URL's like www.yoursite.com/aboutus instead of www.yoursite.com/default.aspx?pid=198. Done. You can set a unique shortcut for every page in your site. There, have your cake and eat it too.

Grouping & Links

In SiteWrench 4.0, you can be sure you're pages do just what you need them to. In addition to a normal content page, you can create Grouping pages and Link pages. Grouping pages are pages that simply contain other pages. If someone goes to that page, instead of content, they see a list of links for that section of the site, or they'll automatically be sent to the first page in that section's subnavigation. Finally, Links are pages that, well, link! Want to have an option in your menu to download file or visit another website? Use a link page.

Meta Data

With Search Engine Optimization needs on the rise, SiteWrench gives you all kinds of Meta Content you can set. You have control over the Page Title, Keywords and Description for every page in your site. You can even call attention to a particular piece of content using tags. Also, with Shortcuts, you can setup search engine friendly URLs.

Beyond Text Styles

In SiteWrench 4.0, you get all the text style control you can handle - no more having your hands tied by limited font options!

The first is the use of H Tags. tags (H for "Heading") can be used to apply various sizes and weights to your text. Not only is this convenient, but search engines actually pay more attention to text inside of tags. In 4.0, you can H tag till your heart is content.

Next is CSS classes (Text Styles). In SiteWrench 4.0, the options are limitless. The font menu will read your stylesheet and pull all of the CSS classes designated for use with your content. If you need a class to apply a special border to an image or a special color to your breaking news, get it done quickly with your CSS classes (I know all you HTML nerds are disappointed, but tough cookies)!
